On November 3, Blocknative CEO Matt Cutler attended the 0xpo Crossroads event in San Francisco to discuss his Web3 origin story, as well as Blocknative’s business and some of the misconceptions in the crypto space. During the event, Cutler was interviewed by Decrypt’s Jason Nelson and shared his story of how he got into the world of blockchain and cryptocurrency.
Cutler spoke about how the early days of blockchain were full of promise and optimism, but that the industry has since experienced a great deal of skepticism and criticism. He also discussed the challenges that blockchain-based businesses face in the current market, noting that most of these challenges are due to the lack of education and understanding of the technology. He highlighted the need for more education and awareness in order to move the industry forward.
Cutler also discussed Blocknative’s business and the services they provide, which are designed to make the user experience of cryptocurrency and blockchain simpler and easier to understand. He explained how Blocknative’s products help to ensure that users receive notifications when their transactions fail or succeed, as well as giving users the ability to track their transactions in real time.
Finally, Cutler discussed some of the misconceptions that exist in the crypto space. He noted that many people believe that blockchain is an all-or-nothing technology, when in fact it can be used for many different applications. He also discussed the importance of understanding the risks involved in cryptocurrencies, as well as the need for users to do their due diligence and understand the technology before investing.
In addition to Cutler’s talk, the 0xpo Crossroads event also featured live events such as onstage panels and interviews from conferences and summits. These events are available to view online, and offer viewers a chance to gain more insight into the world of blockchain and cryptocurrency.
